Jessica Weidman is a classically trained Lyric Soprano with a four-octave range. Her beautiful voice, warm and witty personality, and rare ability to sing “crossover” concerts have allowed her to share her vocal talent both here and abroad. She performs Opera, Broadway, Classical, Gospel and Spirituals, and with this repertoire she always has something to please everyone.

Brandon Buterbaugh
Brandon Buterbaugh serves as the sixth Director of the Lebanon Community Concert Band. He also is currently in his seventh year as the Director of Bands at Hershey High School in the Derry Township School District (Hershey, PA). At Hershey, he directs the Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Trojan Marching Band, and Jazz Band. Ensembles under Brandon’s direction have consistently received Highest Ratings at PMEA Music Performance Assessments. The Hershey HS Wind Symphony was invited to perform at both the 2025 PMEA All-State Conference and the West Chester University’s East Meets West Invitational Concert. As a performer, Mr. Buterbaugh is a member of the Berks Sinfonietta Chamber Orchestra and Messiah Winds. Past engagements have included the West Shore Symphony Orchestra, the Altoona Symphony Orchestra, the Ringgold Band of Reading, Berks Opera, and the Morgantown Community Orchestra. He freelances in the Reading/Harrisburg Region and maintains a private brass studio in Palmyra. Mr. Buterbaugh holds a BME from Penn State University, Master’s Degree in Trombone Performance from West Virginia University, and a Master’s Degree in Wind Conducting from Messiah University. While at West Virginia University, Brandon was a Graduate Assistant with the West Virginia University Bands, including three concert ensembles, the Basketball and Volleyball Pep Bands, and the 350-member WVU Mountaineers Marching Band - The Pride of West Virginia. Brandon currently serves as President of the Dauphin County Music Educators Association, the Festival Coordinator for PMEA District 7, and is a member on the Board of Directors for Berks Sinfonietta Chamber Orchestra (Reading, PA) where he serves as the Marketing Designer. His other professional affiliations include Pennsylvania Music Educators Association, National Association for Music Education, National Band Association, and International Trombone Association.

Shawn M. Small
Shawn M. Small attended Lebanon Valley College where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2001. Since then, he has also acquired a Master of Science in Education from Wilkes University. In 2001, Shawn was hired into the Cornwall-Lebanon School District as an elementary classroom/vocal music teacher. The program currently maintains three volunteer vocal ensembles: a combined fourth and fifth grade chorus of approximately 140 students, the Fifth Avenue Falcons (66-member auditioned group), and a third-grade chorus of approximately 80 students. The ensembles perform for many special events, were utilized as back-up vocals for several songs on an album recorded by Saul Simon MacWilliams with the assistance of Billy Libby, have been semi-finalists/finalists for numerous years with The American Prize National Performing Arts Competition, and will be performing at the PMEA All-State Conference in April of 2026. In 2012, Shawn was named Curriculum Leader (Department Chair) for the Cornwall-Lebanon School District Music Department. In 2022, Shawn was awarded the PMEA Citation of Excellence as an elementary music educator.
Shawn has also been highly active as an educator/designer at the secondary level with marching bands, indoor percussion units, and indoor guard units since 2002. Some of the positions held include Assistant Director, Drill Writer, Visual Consultant, and Brass Consultant with programs such as Warwick, Lebanon, Hershey, Conestoga Valley, Cumberland Valley, Biglerville, Lower Dauphin, Ephrata, Camp Hill, Millersville University, Donegal, Manheim Central, Hempfield, and Cedar Crest. Shawn has also been an active trumpet performer with the Hershey Symphony Orchestra from 2002-2008 and has been a featured guest soloist during their regular subscription seasons. He currently performs with the Perseverance Band of Lebanon and is also a member of Fünf, a brass quintet based out of Harrisburg, PA. Shawn currently resides in Lebanon, PA with his wife and son, Bianca and Cullen.
